TASTING NOTES: Cinnamon, cardamom, ginger
A fiery blend of black Assam CTC tea and whole spices inspired by the chai served on the streets of Kolkata. Â Spices are sourced from farms across India and then added to the tea whole, with some crushed slightly to improve the brewing.
This year, the Great Taste judges awarded our chai a coveted gold star, commenting: “A fabulously aromatic dry mix. It’s punchy too, on the palate of the infused tea. We love the brightness of the spice!.”
🫖In a small saucepan, bring half cup of water (110ml) to a boil in a saucepan, along with half cup of milk.Â
🫖Add a teaspon of our Kolkata Chai, and leave to simmer for 3-4 mins. Strain and savour a soul-soothing chai in moments.
