Spring Darjeeling (First Flush Black Tea), 40g
TASTING NOTES: Floral, ginger, lemon zest
From the very first picking of 2024, this is a delicate tea, as fragile as the leaves of the Chinese varietals used to make it. It’s produced by a small, carefully tended family-owned garden called Giddapahar located at an altitude of 1500m.Â
This tea is a beautiful expression of the high altitude conditions (1500m) that the garden enjoys, combined with the skill of the tea makers. It brews a golden colour and combines mellow floral notes with a hint of ginger and lemon zest.Â
